Plan Your Visit
Experience safe, age-appropriate environments where your children, from Nursery through 5th Grade, will learn about Jesus in a creative and relevant way.
We understand that trying a new church can be intimidating, and trying a new church with kids in tow can be overwhelming and nerve-wracking!
By answering your questions, addressing any concerns, and, if desired, providing a tour of our kids' areas ahead of your first Sunday visit, we can help your time at New Hope be a great experience for the whole family.
Contact us to plan a visit with our Children’s Ministry staff or Pre-Register your family!
New Hope Children’s Ministry uses The Gospel Project for Kids curriculum. A Christ-centered Bible study resource that helps Pre-K through 5th Graders dive into the big story of the Bible -- God's plan to rescue His people through His Son, Jesus Christ. Each week, these stories come to life through video, music, activities, and more!
Children’s Sunday School is available for nursery through 5th grade and begins at 9:00 AM. At 9:45 AM, children are picked up to join their families for worship in the sanctuary. During the service, children in nursery through 2nd grade are dismissed during the meet-and-greet time to attend Children’s Church, while 3rd–5th graders remain in service with their parents.

Our greeters will show you to the children’s check-in area where one of our staff will meet you. After checking your child(ren) into our system, one of our volunteers will lead your child to their age-appropriate area.
Grab a latte at our Cafe Connections espresso stand and head to the sanctuary for the worship service.
If you have a K-5th grader attending Sunday Service with you, be sure to have them pick up a Kids' Activity Clipboard on the way in!
-
Upon checking in for the first time, we will ask for the following personal information (Note: We value your privacy and will not share this information with anyone):
Parent/guardian name(s)
Child's name
Child's birth date
Home address
Phone number
Email address
Any special instructions for your child(ren), including allergies, medical needs, or other important information
After your initial registration, future check-ins are quick and easy. Simply enter your information at the check-in station, and your child(ren)'s name tag(s) and a parent pick-up ticket will automatically print.
-
After dropping off your child(ren) for Sunday School, stop by Café Connections and grab a complimentary latte or coffee! You’re welcome to attend one of our Adult Sunday School classes (when available), spend time fellowshipping with others, or simply relax and prepare your heart for worship.
Or, if you'd like, enjoy all three before our worship service begins at 10:00 AM!
-
In the event that we need to contact you during the service, we will send you a text, or one of our staff/volunteers will come and find you in the sanctuary.
-
After the service is complete, return to your child’s room and show your tag (issued at check-in) in order for your child to be released back to you.
-
Yes! We have a Family Room that is separate from the main sanctuary while still overlooking it, allowing you to participate in the entire service. We also have a larger space called the Fireside Room, which overlooks the sanctuary as well and provides additional room for families who may need it.

At New Hope Presbyterian Church, we are committed to creating a safe, welcoming, and nurturing environment where children can learn about God's love and grow in their faith. All Children's Ministry staff and volunteers complete a background check before serving. We also follow a two-volunteer policy, ensuring that at least two approved adults are present in every Sunday School and Children's Church classroom. Our prayer is that every child and family feels loved, cared for, and secure while they are with us.
