Rev. Reuben Antlevink

Rev. Reuben Antlevink

Assistant Pastor

Born and raised in Hopkins, Michigan, Reuben was blessed to have a family who raised him in the church, with the encouragement to find out who God was calling him to be.

This faithful upbringing led him to Kuyper College (class of 2014), where he earned his bachelor's degrees in bible theology and interdisciplinary studies. He continued his educational journey at Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, Mississippi (class of 2019) where he spent six years not only learning ministry skills but gaining a deeper love for his neighbors. Working at a local brewery, helping run music festivals, and exploring the great city of Jackson not only helped Reuben develop ministry-applicable skills, but allowed him to meet people from all walks of life. In the fall of 2020, Reuben was called by New Hope Presbyterian Church to move to Washington to serve as Youth Director, and in 2024, he was ordained in the EPC and became Assistant Pastor.

He has been married to his best friend and love of his life, Mary Ansley, since the Fall of  2021. They live in Kent with their two cats, Houdini and Cricket. When Reuben isn’t doing ministry work, they spend their time exploring the PNW, cooking new foods, going to concerts, and hanging out with friends.

Reuben would love to connect with you about life, music, food, comic books, and most anything defined as “nerdy”; But, most of all, he is passionate about sharing the hope that comes with knowing Jesus.
